2017/18 MuSiC Dates!
The Clinical Skills Centre at Gateshead’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital has announced dates for its MuSiC course. MuSiC in Obstetrics is a multidisciplinary course involving Anaesthetists, Midwives, Operating Department Personnel, Obstetricians and Paediatricians in a high fidelity setting with advanced simulation mannequins.
1st NorthTech Sim Event
Sunderland University Living Lab hosted the first Sim Tech North event today supported by Laerdal & ASPiH. Organised by Alison Rutherford (NE Sim tech Champion) and Jane Nicklin (ASPiH Exec and director of operations at Simsupport).
Systemwide learning from Never Events
NHS England and NHS Improvement are jointly hosting a learning event focussing on opportunities for System wide learning and improvement from Never Events. This event is being held on Thursday 16th February 2017 at Durham County Cricket Ground, Durham Riverside, Chester le Street DH3 3QR - 9.00 a.m.- 4.30 p.m. and is aimed at NHS commissioners and providers and in particular clinical teams, surgeons and members of the multi-disciplinary theatre teams.
