Expressions of Interest to Attend ASPiH 2019
For the second successional year the North East and North Cumbria Faculty of Patient Safety are inviting expressions of interest for the opportunity to attend the 2019 ASPiH Conference at Belfast Waterfront, 4-6th November 2019. The bursary package will include conference fees, accommodation and travel. Expressions of interest to be recieved by the 2nd September - see post for further details.

TEL Project - What makes a good Sim Network?
The TEL programme is developing a Simulation Based Education Toolkit. They are currently looking at one of the additions to this toolkit around "What makes a good Simulation Networks". They are inviting members of simulation networks to complete an online survey. Deadline for completion is 23rd August 2019

CAE Obstetric Simulation Showcase
The North East Simulation Network, in conjunction with CAE, will be showcasing the latest in obstetric/gynecological simulation technology including OB/GYN ultrasound and obstetric birthing solutions with integrated HOLOLENS augmented reality. This demonstration will be held at The Simulation Centre at the Freeman Hospital. Any NHS health professional or educator in this field from the North East & North Cumbria, North West or North Yorkshire and Humber are welcome to attend. Places are limited to 20. Please contact the centre direct to register your interest.

The Bright Ideas in Health Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and teams working within the NHS, industry and academia, who have risen to the challenge of telling us how, and where, they believe that improvements to the service provided to patients can be improved, either through a technical innovation or through better service delivery.
