
All Things Debriefing
The North East Simulation Network will be holding an Advanced "All things debriefing" course in association with CAE. There are 20 places per workshops available funded by the North East Simulation Network so on registration through the network this advanced debriefing course will be available to attend for those that have completed an "intro to sim" course either through NESN hosted (NTUH/CIC if NESN certificated, Northumbria University,DASH or CDDFT intro equivalent courses)or have a background of delivering simulation based education in line or other regions approved courses.

Nuts, Bolts & Knowledge
The North East Simulation Network will be hosting two Laerdal Faculty Development Days - Nuts, Bolts and Knowledge: Practical Approaches to Enhancing Simulation Based Education on 23rd and 24th October.

HEE North TEL Network Event
The HEE North TEL Network event is taking place on the 11 June 2019, hosted by Northumbria University in Newcastle. The focus of the event will be Immersive Technologies and will feature a number of activities that are taking place across the North.

2019 HEE Clinical Skills & Simulation Conference
The 2019 HEE clinical Skills and Simulation Conference is being held in conjunction with the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Skills and Simulation NetworK on Wednesday 10th July 2019. Registration is still open.

Human Factors Training
The network is supporting an afternoon of training for simulation fellows and teaching fellows to develop their knowledge and understanding of Human Factors in order be confident in delivering human factors information to other medical and healthcare staff within their organisation. This is also open to any trainees, consultant or educators who would like to develop their knowledge in this area.

The Human Factors Steering group has organised a Human Factors Faculty Development morning aimed at anybody who has a role in delivering Human Factors training within their organisations.

EC-TEL 2018
Leeds Institute of Medical Education, as one of the hosting organisations of EC-TEL, and Health Education England (HEE) is organising a healthcare education stream within the main EC-TEL Conference.
