HEE NE Bursary to attend "Maximising Input" 2018 ASPiH Conference
The North East and North Cumbria Faculty of Patient Safety are inviting expressions of interest for the opportunity to attend the "Maximising Input" 2018 ASPiH Conference at Southport Convention Centre, 13-15th November 2018. The package will include conference fees, accommodation and travel. There are two bursaries available.
This opportunity is available to individuals working in a non-medical role at NHS organisations or Universities in the North East and North Cumbria, for example educators, technologists, nursing and physiotherapy staff.
The individual must have expressed an interest to attend but could not secure funding from their employing organisation.
Study leave must have been agreed with the employer prior to submission of an expression of interest. Please note non-attendance may incur recovery of cost by HEE NE from the employing organisation.
Candidates must submit a brief summary (limit 500 word) including:
- Name & Job Title
- Reason for Attendance
- Support approval from line manager
- Current or previous submissions of abstracts or involvement in presentations or workshops at regional or national simulation or patient safety events.
- Proposal for dissemination of learning from this conference to the network
Successful candidates will be invited to attend and potentially projects present at future HEE NE Simulation network event.
