This innovative one day session is aimed at Emergency Medicine trainees in the early part of the CT3 training year. The transition to middle grade rotas often causes concerns about the new challenges trainees will encounter. The development team has surveyed trainees who have been through this transition and identified common concerns and management challenges.
The session reflects a time lapsed night shift where the trainees will need to work together to overcome the typical challenges a middle grade will encounter. There will be a table top exercise featuring a live, constantly flowing department, a multidisciplinary team to manage and supervise along with simulated challenges and interruptions. So….

This courses are for trainees in the North East and Cumbria therefore enrollment is restricted to Northern Deanary CT3 trainees. These courses are allocated on a first come first served basis.
